Yes, this is probably the best solution for today.
But it would be better to remove this feature for good

Issue is now resolved. Users will not be able to delete profiles and when clicking on the link for deletion, a message pops up - Please use the Feedback & Support form to request a profile deletion

We've made another change here. Since we've received few requests for user deletion last few days, we've reactivated the function. However when someone deletes his/hers profile all the posts, proposals, comments, etc. will be moved to a default user so nothing will be lost.

The requester deleted his profile and with it his request with my response. When will this damn button be removed ?!

By the way, 12 minutes have passed since the request was published, and the request deletion limit has long expired.

Unfortunately, I did not have time to take a screenshot of this request, all that remains of this is https://www.watzatsong.com/en/name-that ... 21927.html as you can see the request was deleted and the user under the nickname sofia requested it with some set of numbers

This should not happen. Will check it ASAP as all such samples should be just moved to watz_fan user

wtz_fan is a special account? Several times I reported on these requests that it was not responding to pending responses

Wtz_fan is a special account where all the deleted users posts are moved to.
As far as Sofia, I don’t see her profile deleted? She might have deleted a new sample within the 5 mins timeframe.
