Most newcomers do not even know that their request needs to be confirmed,
or they simply ignore it. I personally wrote to each author of the request, but
few people confirmed my answers.

Many query authors no longer visit the site

You wait for the requester to appear, you add a +1, you signal to a moderator who will judge whether the answer should be confirmed or not

Speaking of restrictions... would it be very hard for you to also implement a file hash comparison between a newly uploaded sample and all existing samples?
I've seen it now multiple times, that people upload identical samples with different accounts.
If those people would get an error instead which says "that sample has already been uploaded, you'll find it here", it might help to keep this site free from duplicate posts.
Just now sure if it's worth the effort from your point of view.

Adding such feature for sure will slow the uploading down as a verification process will be also taking place. Also if the comparison fails or identifies false/positives might create a much bigger mess than few duplication

I ask again for the implementation of this function. A message should appear and the member should no longer be able to post until they confirm or decline a reply. It's really frustrating for those who took the trouble to answer and who are ignored.

I still think that forcing users to do something is not a good idea.Other can also share their opinion.
