Christian R&B song from the 90s or early 2000s

Post by Too »

So I can't find this song by looking up the lyrics but "peace be still" are pretty much the only words in the chorus.

The words I remember are something like...
"When the ocean crashes against my body,
And my heart aches from all the stress,
When the pain, overruled the words you taught,
You speak to me,
And I don't think I'll ever the light,
I hear you say,

Peeeeace , peace be still"
"Repeat"

I can't remember a lot of the lyrics and all of the melody I just have no idea who sang it and can't find it anywhere. But it was definitely a girl group or sisters and they had very soulful voices. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Too

Based on the lyrics you provided, the song you're describing is likely "Peace Be Still" by The Belonging Co featuring Lauren Daigle. This song matches the description of having the lyrics "peace be still" in the chorus and includes soulful vocals by Lauren Daigle. It's a popular contemporary Christian song known for its powerful message of finding peace in the midst of life's storms. You can listen to the song on various music platforms or search for the official music video on YouTube to confirm if it's the one you're looking for.

Focusing your search on Gospel, Christian, or soulful female vocal group music from a particular era may help you narrow it down. slope game
