Yes, if a song has been found by the poster him/herself then the moderator confirms it. I did do once a proposal myself for someone that had found the song, but then the moderator told me that i was not allowed to do it, that this is the task for the moderator. That was in the beginning when i was on WTZ, then i didn't know yet that i was not allowed to do that.
