Question regarding posting rules

Post by LivingTrance »

Hi

I recently posted a track fragment which I had to divide in 5 parts. Once the track was solved, I confirmed the post and the rest 4 parts which where part of the same track were deleted (not by me).

I want to know if this deletion was done by a moderator, if so, does that mean this was a bad move from me and I should not repeat this procedure posting 5 parts?

Thing is, sometimes with electronic music, one cannot really indentify a track by just listening 30 seconds, one needs to listen 1/4 of it more or less... well anyways that's my point of view.

So if I keep posting a track, divided, might I get banned for it?

Thx in advance.

Edit: I just realized I got an email for each quarantined post... ok, so I guess it's forbidden, srry

Yeah, it's not great to have multiple requests for the same song, for a variety of reasons.

I'd suggest putting the most recognisable part of the sample as a request, and linking to a vocaroo (or other file-hosting service) of the longer sample in the description/comments of that request.
