Been trying for a year to name this song
Walking thru the grocery store over a year ago a song was playing on the speakers, and hit me like a ton of bricks. Would be from 2000-2005 or so. Acoustic, but emo-esk, emotional and powerful. Very similar to Dashboard Confessional, with voice very similar to Something Corporate (higher pitched, whiney)... the lyrics, while not necessarily exact, were along the lines of "If you give me your worst I will give you my everything". I've searched entire discographies of at least 100 bands and still can't find it. After a year it's still driving me mad. Help!
